Thank you for your continued interest and involvement in the music school -we have just finished another satisfying and successful year.
 
Music School will have a slightly different feel in the Autumn due to my changing family circumstances and changing job description.
 
We will begin by continuing to meet at St Matthias and Dr Bells School, Fishponds Rd (rear car park entrance of Station Avenue).
 
We will try meeting as one large inter-generational choir and see how it goes. Previous experience suggests this will be really good fun.
As last year people will be encouraged to come and teach others their favourite songs, whatever the style, and I will help make this happen. We will work without a piano, but we will use percussion instruments and have a story time and refreshments.
 
We will gather at 10am and leave by 11.30am each session. All are welcome and there is no fee for the sessions. Each term we shall have an open rehearsal for friends and family as before. By arrangement people are welcome to come for part of a session too but please just let me know (I do understand that a lot happens on Saturdays including for example, dance classes).
 
It is possible that we may evolve into something more broadly artistic, whilst still retaining a strong musical element, but that is more in the future.
